Hidalgo has more than 40 years of history. Today, and since 2007, the second generation of the founding family is in charge of this restaurant located near the Sant Gervasi market.

With a modern decor that stick to straight lines, the restaurant avoids visual excesses and turns the attention to a black and white picture that captures a moment in the early 50’s Barcelona.

The menu at Hidalgo, that includes half portions, presents good seasonal cuisine with modern elaborations and high quality products.

The wine list pays no attention to commercial wines and helps us discover interesting new wines from unknown cellars.

The restaurant boasts a small area with a bar for a few diners, very useful to east alone and perfect for quick meals. They also serve breakfast in the morning.
